Two plans, and one decision that is not a plan.

Pick how much of the app you want. Then, separately, decide whether Overpane should drive the AI subscription you already pay for or bring its own — that is an add-on, and it changes where the thinking happens, never what you can press.

So hosted inference on Starter is $19 a month, and on Pro it is $29. Adding it never unlocks an action, and dropping it never takes one away.

Prices are in USD and exclude any tax we are obliged to collect. Annual plans are billed once, up front, at 25% off twelve months, and can be cancelled for a pro-rata refund. Nothing is on sale yet — the buttons put you on the list, and the trial starts when the build ships.

On every plan, at every price

Three things that are not a tier feature and never will be. Listing them as a benefit of each plan in turn would pad the table without telling you anything.

  • VERIFY, on every plan

    The action that checks the product is doing what this site says is never behind a price. It runs three capture methods against the panel and reports PASS, FAIL, or COULD NOT MEASURE. Gating it would mean charging you to find out whether you were sold something real.

  • Every chord, and the whole menu bar

    Eight of the twenty chords run an action; the other twelve scroll, hide, resize and quit the panel. Locking the app’s own chrome behind a licence is how you brick someone mid-meeting, so none of it is gated on any plan.

  • No account to create

    Your licence key is the credential — there is no password to reset and no user table to breach. Paste the key on the account page to see which Macs it is active on, and to free a slot when you replace one.

The action rows are generated from the same table the application reads before it runs an action, so this page cannot advertise something the app then refuses to do. A build check compares the two and fails if they ever disagree.

Two things worth reading before you pay

Where your screen text goes

Without the hosted inference add-on, the extracted text goes to your own AI CLI and wherever your provider sends it; the application does not report your usage to us at all. With the add-on, it is sent to our inference provider instead. If you are looking at anything under an NDA, check which of those you are on first — and check that sending it anywhere is permitted.

Screen-share privacy

Overpane asks macOS to keep its panel out of screen captures, so your notes and prompts stay out of a shared stream or a screenshot. Press ⌃⌥⌘V to measure the result on your own machine — it reports PASS, FAIL, or COULD NOT MEASURE.

This is a confidentiality feature and its scope is exactly that: what a shared stream or a screenshot contains. It says nothing about what other software on your machine can observe, and it is no substitute for telling people you are using an assistant where you are expected to. Our acceptable use policy sets out where it must not be relied on.
